Confirm key dimensions
Before Skipp finalizes your design and generates a P.O. for your project, we will ask you to confirm a few key dimensions of the space in what we call a "Dimensional Checkpoint". This is a checkpoint to ensure complete accuracy before placing a materials order.
Skipp does not consider any design final until this step has been completed. We need to confirm key dimensions in order to ensure the designs are accurate.
We'll remind you to complete the form before we complete the design. But the earlier the better, as it'll help complete the design as speedily and as accurately as possible.
This Dimensional Checkpoint will be available in the task list. We will also send you a link to the form once it's ready to fill out.
The Dimensional Checkpoint shows a floor plan of the space with measurements for you to confirm:
You'll be asked to verify each of the measurements:
To do so, follow these instructions:
1. Please measure the noted distances with either a tape measurer or electronic distance measuring device. Dimensions to the nearest inch are perfectly workable.
2. If a dimension ends with a window or door, please exclude any trim and measure to the nearest surface of the opening which is perpendicular to the wall.
3. Complete the following multiple choice questions to verify or modify the provided distances.
4. Provide any additional notes and submit the form.
