Your device must have LiDAR technology in order to use the Skipp 3D app. Currently, the only devices that have this technology are certain iPhones and iPads.

### Which iPhones and iPads have LiDAR?

Apple started using LiDAR in their "Pro" devices beginning in 2020. These specific models have LiDAR:

- **iPhone Pro: iPhone 12 or later** (iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro, etc.)
- **iPad Pro: 4th generation or later **(iPad Pro 4th gen, iPad Pro 5th gen, iPad Pro 6th gen, etc.)

### How do you know if your device has LiDAR?

You can check which model of iPhone or iPad you have in the Settings app. Go to Settings > General > About and you'll see the Model Name.

You can also see whether a device has LiDAR by looking at the rear camera. If the device has LiDAR, there will be a little black dot near the camera lenses, about the same size as the flash.
