The [Skipp 3D app](docId\:A7cdimuRH4N3pwue9-wTr) is used to measure a homeowner's space. See below for instructions on how to sign up and log in:

## Before you get started

The Skipp 3D app uses LiDAR to scan a space. This means you'll need an iPhone Pro (model 12 or newer) or an iPad Pro in order to use the app. [Not sure if your device has LiDAR? Check here.](docId\:aK_Yn-9J70LkW6BXDwy6h) 

## Download the app and sign up

To create a Skipp 3D app account:

- Download the Skipp 3D app by [clicking this link](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/skipp-3d/id6460030249) or scanning the QR code
- Click *Sign up*
- Enter your work email address and create a password

*Note that the Skipp portal and the Skipp 3D app have two separate logins. The first time you use the Skipp 3D app, you will need to create an account.*

## Log in

After you've signed up once, you'll be able to log in using the password you created. Now you can use it to [scan a space](docId:1sq8BOpljf-0P7dCo_Jqa).

## Having trouble signing up or logging in?

Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1. **Have you created an account for the Skipp 3D app?** Note, the Skipp portal has a *separate* login, so if you have signed up for the portal you will still need to sign up for the app.
2. **Are you using a device with LiDAR?** [Check here for a list of devices with LiDAR](docId\:aK_Yn-9J70LkW6BXDwy6h).
