If you took a 3D scan of the space, you can get some *basic* measurements to help with your estimate. For now, you won't be able to see all the detailed measurements that Skipp receives from the scan, but this should at least be a starting point.

### Step 1: Open the scan

Click on "3D scan" from the side navigation:

### Step 2: Click the measuring tape

You can only measure from this top (layout) view. Click on the measuring tape icon in the lower right corner:

### Step 3: Measure a line

Click onto the layout to start your measurement, then click on where you want your measurement to end:

### Step 4: Measure an area

If you want to measure an *area* of a space, continue clicking on the layout until you complete the shape:
