This is one of the tasks you'll need to complete when you [create a new project](docId:69GSg42jN3Ot5X4xTdGrP). The other tasks are [enter project details](docId\:fnlHY8_v9nfCuVkRGYFnQ) and [select a design palette](docId:9zdk9YwlFnOXQaKPG6WuT). You'll need to complete all three of these tasks before you can [submit for processing](docId\:NNJEW4tQ6eeaz0MonMUEp), but you can complete them in any order.

## Getting started

You can find this task in the [task list](docId\:Gg2B_k5TJ8Wr1LkxB1ByT). 

There are two options here: you can choose to use a [3D scan](docId\:A7cdimuRH4N3pwue9-wTr) or upload your own measurements for the space. You can upload documents and *also* scan with the 3D app. You can also upload as many documents as you'd like.

## Scan with the 3D app

If you plan to scan using the 3D app, click *Use Scan*. [Click here](docId\:A7cdimuRH4N3pwue9-wTr) for instructions to use the Skipp 3D app.

## Upload plans

Click *Upload Files*, follow the instructions to upload your plan.

## Where to find your scan or plans

You can find your completed scan by selecting *3D Scan* from the lefthand navigation bar. Select *Files *to see your uploaded plans.
