RenoVision + Design Services (cloned)
This only applies to users who are enabled for both RenoVision Beta and Skipp's Design Services. Unsure if that's you? Email [email protected].
If you've been invited to the Beta group, you'll receive emailed instructions to access the 3D app and Skipp portal, plus select your default cabinetry and palette. If you have any questions about these instructions, please email [email protected].
Complete the following steps to create a scan:
- Open the Skipp 3D app
- Tap "Create New Tour"
- In the Tour Details, enter "RenoVision" into the Designer ID field
- Tap "Build Floor Plan" to start the scan
- Once completed, tap "Finish and Upload"
In 30 minutes, you should receive an email notification letting you know your RenoVision design is ready to view. Click the link in this email to view your design in the Skipp portal.
Your RenoVision design includes a 3D walkthrough, renderings of the space, and a list of materials with real costs.
Swap in and out materials easily in the Skipp portal:
- Select new materials from the library
- Click the "Update" button at the top of your screen
- Select whether to update the pricing only, or pricing and renderings
Once you've completed these simple edits, you can either download your design as a .kit file (click on the "Request 2020 File" button) or you can use Skipp's design services to finalize the design:
- Click the "Request Skipp Plan" button below the Price Summary
- A pop-up will appear, click "Next"
You'll be taken to a renovation questionnaire:
- Fill out each section of the questionnaire
- Once completed, click the "Submit My Decisions" button
Once that form is completed, you'll be prompted to submit your plan to Skipp for processing. Click the button, then in 3-5 business days you'll receive your updated design.
