Devices that can use the Skipp 3D app

Your device must have LiDAR technology in order to use the Skipp 3D app. Currently, the only devices that have this technology are certain iPhones and iPads.

Apple started using LiDAR in their "Pro" devices beginning in 2020. These specific models have LiDAR:

You can check which model of iPhone or iPad you have in the Settings app. Go to Settings > General > About and you'll see the Model Name.

You can also see whether a device has LiDAR by looking at the rear camera. If the device has LiDAR, there will be a little black dot near the camera lenses, about the same size as the flash.
