Make revisions
After you receive a proposal, you're able to make revisions easily before you share the proposal with the homeowner.
Watch the video or scroll down for detailed instructions:
You can swap in and out materials by selecting Edit Materials from the task list or by making changes in the workspace. You can choose materials and they will change the price quote. In order to update the rest of the materials, you will need to submit a revision. See details below.
There are a few ways to reach the revision tool:
Option 1: In the task list, click the task called Request Revisions
Option 2: Open the project workspace and click Request Revisions
This will take you to the annotation tool. Here's how you add an annotation:
- Click on the pin button in the lower right corner of the comment box
- Click on the part of the design you want to revise
- You'll see a number appear in the design where you clicked and the same number will appear next to the comment box
- Type your comment in the comment box
- Press the arrow button to add the annotation
Use this annotation tool for all comments, even general revisions that don't correspond to a specific part of the proposal. Think of it like a revision checklist - anything with a number will be included in the revision.
Once you've entered all your comments, you're ready to submit the revision:
- Click the Submit Revision button
- You'll see a screen showing you the details of your revision
- If all looks correct, click the Confirm button
Your plan will have a certain number of revisions included. Please email [email protected] if you need this information.
Skipp will share a revised proposal within a matter of days. If you have any additional comments in the meantime, you can send them as a message in the project workspace.
Once the proposal is ready to share, you can edit the price quote and share with the homeowner.
Before your design is considered final, you must confirm key dimensions of the space. Please do not order materials or try to install based on any design that does not have the key dimensions confirmed.
