Step 3: Edit your RenoVision design
You're currently able to make some real-time edits to your design in the Skipp portal. Watch the video or scroll down for detailed instructions:
If you scroll down in the Skipp portal, you can change the materials used in your design:
- To update the cabinetry manufacturer:
- Scroll down to where you see the manufacturer name and logo
- Click on the logo
- You'll be prompted to select another vendor and product line
- You'll be prompted to select a design palette
- To change cabinet door style, hardware, surfaces, or sink and faucet:
- Scroll down to the item you'd like to swap
- Click the Select from Library button
- You'll be prompted to select materials from the library
- You can use the search bar to find the exact material you have in mind, or choose from the catalog
- Click Update in the upper right corner
- You can elect to update the price only (done instantly) or update both the price and the renderings (~30 min wait time)
- Press submit
- You'll be notified in the portal when your updates are completed
You can also edit your price estimate before sharing with a homeowner:
- In the Price Summary section, click Edit
- You can toggle on/off a line item (removing it from the total)
- You can hide a line item by clicking on the eye icon
- You can add markups or discounts to your cabinetry price by clicking on the calculator icon
- Save your changes to see them update
If Skipp doesn't support your preferred cabinetry manufacturer, you'll be able to select the correct manufacturer and style when you download your design.
Yes! Scroll to your cabinet selection and click the blue +ADD button. Select the type of cabinetry you'd like to add. Then you can make your selections for this cabinetry.
If you scroll down to the Surfaces section, you'll see that Backsplash and Flooring are sub-categories. Click on each and you'll be able to edit them.
These are currently the extent of edits you can make within the Skipp portal. To make additional edits, you can download the design as a .kit file and finalize the design yourself in 2020. If you don't use 2020, inquire about Skipp's design services by emailing us at [email protected].
